Samuel Mulia Wannabe

I give my salute to Samuel Mulia, the regular life style-column writer at Kompas. From week to week, he tells us about ordinary experience. Most of the stories come from his personal life. It can be identified from the words he choose, such as, 'my friend' and 'my boss'. This man must have something special since become a permanent writer for the biggest Indonesian newspaper. One week, the idea was about socialite-wannabe behavior. In another week, he reminiscented the life when he was a party-goer. His connection with many famous people is beyond question. In my opinion, he could make a great book of it.

I also want to be a good writer, but now still learn how to write. That is why I make this blog. For the beginning, I write everything based on daily life. It is a kind of diary. As far as I observe, the way I write adopts Samuel's. My writings were emerged from personal experience. Actually I do not like to share my feeling or experience publicly. But writing experience becomes easier than other themes. Somehow, I think I am a Samuel Mulia Wannabe. Hopefully there will be any news company appoint me as its permanent writer.
