One of my greatest ambitions is to serve my husband's meal by my self. During the three years of our marriage, there were only few times I done culinary. My favourite cooking meal is garang asem, a recipe inherited by my mother-in-law. Garang Asem is a javanese traditional cuisine, made of chicken, spice, and wrapped by banana leaf.
My husband called me yesterday evening and asked me what kind of dish I would prefer for dinner. I said, instead of buying food, I was thinking about cooking. He could not believe what he heard on the phone and corfirmed it several times. "Really?" hahaha. Than, "OK, good."
And the night ended very well. We enjoy our meal different way from any other night.
